Wye Valley Energy is so pleased to have the opportunity to speak at the Environmental and Energy Expo in Worcester. The Environmental and Energy Expo is something of a rare find as its goal is not necessarily to sell but to impart knowledge. I know this sounds a bit boring and school like but I think there is a point that you don’t need sales pitches or quotes thrown around, but rather you just need to know exactly what you are buying.

For instance, I’m currently building a house and I needed to buy insulation. I thought, no problem, the builder will go pick up insulation and put it in; done and dusted. Oh how wrong I was. There were then questions of U values, thickness, placement, type of insulation and condensation. On top of that I’ve got people giving me quotes for building works but this wasn’t included in one quote but it was in another and this other quote doesn’t even mention an attic space. It’s a horrible job to try and decide on such big financial investments when you’re not well versed in the subject. This is what the Environmental and Energy Expo supplements. You get the opportunity to sit down and have a discussion with people who are well versed in their subjects so you know what you are looking for.
